We can help you create a service as unique as the person you're commemorating.

Weeroona is an ultra-modern chapel with seating for 60 people and standing space for up to 150 guests. A customised memorial service in the chapel is offered free of charge in conjunction with all cremations and burials at Bunurong.

Designing a Service

Using the Chapel's state-of-the-art event management technology, you have free rein to design a service that befits your departed loved one. A touch screen control system with one control panel for the speaker and one for the funeral director gives you complete control over events and the reassurance that the service will run to plan. From this panel, curtains, lighting, audio-visuals and the lowering of the catafalque can be mastered.

The Chapel's audio/visual system is particularly well equipped and allows families to tailor a highly visual and evocative service using the video screens, projector and advanced audio system. You can record a special reading; cue favourite songs; play video messages from distant friends; or create a Powerpoint presentation or slide show.

After the Service

You may like to gather after the service in one of our Condolence Lounges. Here we can arrange for simple refreshments (tea and biscuits) or for full buffet-style catering. The glass-walled Condolence Lounges are a popular sanctuary for reflection after a memorial service as they look out onto the gardens and lake.

Chapel Details

Capacity:	Seats 60 people comfortably, with space for up to 150 guests.
Catering:	Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. More extensive catering is also available.
Resources:	Audio and video recording/ presentation; three CD Players; two audio tape decks; touch screen control of curtains, audio, video and catafalque.
Cost:	Use is included in the cost of burial or cremation.
